Rosemont Elementary School Reviews

My two boys attend Rosemonte Elementary and in all the years I have dealt with the school I have never had a problem with it. Everytime go into the office I am given very professional service and attention. The teachers my kids have had are great. They have went above and beyond their call of duty to see my kids excell. I do not care to much for the Rosemont area, but I'm glad that I at least got a great school in moving here.

I love Rosemont. My three children all attend Rosemont, and we have had a very pleasant experience. I have attended all of the family math, science, and reading nights. I don't go there for refreshments, but to learn new and innovative ways to encourage my children to learn. The teachers all care about their students well being, and there are tons of help if needed. The school offers tutoring at no cost, and the teachers go above and beyond to help the students. Keep up the good work Rosemont!

Rosemont is a great school! The parents need to get more involve with their kids at home. i.e help them with theirn homework, reading etc. The Principal Mrs. Hodges is Great!

This school has left a bad taste in my mouth. The office staff is rude unhelpful and just plain unpleasant. Most of the teachers are up to par and friendly. The assistant principle needs further training in my book on how to run things he just isnt very professional. If I had a choice I would definitly send my child to a different school!

This is my first year at Rosemont and so far it meets my expectations. The staff & faculty are professional, pleasant and knowledgeable. They offer tutoring after school and extended day program for working parents. The extended day program help with homework, arts & craft, outside play, computer lab, ect; The school encourages parent involvement via PTA, Math Night, Reading Night, Social Activities, etc; Since the beginning of school, I have visited the campus to have lunch with my children, parent involvement or any other time at random and I was treated with respect and with a smile. My children have homework every night and don't complain. Their teachers have an open door policy and are available whenever I need them. Many of the parents are working parents and not stay at home moms or self-employed but the school reach out to keep everyone involved. Keep up the good work Rosemont.

Terrible school. Don't have high expectations.

Rosemont's administration & faculty are top-notch! They really care about the students, and their social & academic progress. They also stress respect & caring for others. My son is in his 5th year at Rosemont and has progressed in all aspects. I would encourage parent involvement in PTA and other activities, as it will only strengthen what Rosemont already has going for it. Up until this year, he was involved in Extended Day, which he enjoyed thoroughly as well. Rosemont Eagles SOAR!

Rosemont, though a beautiful school has its problems. I have never felt welcomed in my child's classroom, and the teacher will seldom directly answer my questions. It has been a frustrating year.

There is hardly any parent involvement at this school. There are hardly no after school programs that all students can attend. The office staff is rude and short no matter what time of the day you contact them, on the phone or in person...They don't have a great deal of help for students that need it in math and reading! but then they are quick to fail your child because of it.

There are no activities for the children outside of school. The last parent night they were out of refreshments for the adult sand children. On the bright side my daughter's teacher Mrs. Cochran is very upbeat and into her students.
